Larry Montgomery, Sr.

Instructor Montgomery has worked in the training and consulting field for over 25 years focused in the non-profit corporation arena.

Montgomery has worked with both the New York Long Island United Way and the Urban League of Long Island on occasion and has trained and developed non-profit organization board members in the area of board development and board capacity building for a number of years. 

​

Montgomery has also worked in the for-profit sector as well with over 20 years as a Vice President of Commercial Lending with a major money center bank under his belt.

His goal in offering this material to prospective public service board members is to afford them valuable information that will not make them experts in the field but help to understand when more information and questions on a topic are needed and how to pose their questions and validate the responses.
